Rosendahl introduces standardized insulation line for cost-efficient high-volume cable production

The new Insulation Plus line combines proven extrusion technology with a standardized machine concept that reduces investment costs for low-voltage cable manufacturers.

The low-voltage cable market has become increasingly price-driven. Growing demand from electrification and infrastructure projects is intensifying competition, requiring manufacturers to balance production efficiency, product quality, and capital expenditure more carefully than ever.

Designed around common low-voltage market needs
Many customer projects share nearly identical technical requirements. Instead of engineering every insulation line from scratch, Rosendahl decided to standardize its line concept for the most common low-voltage cable applications. The new Insulation Plus line enables serial production of machine components and streamlined project execution, resulting in measurable cost savings throughout the project lifecycle.

Proven technology for high-volume production
Insulation Plus is designed for the insulation of low-voltage power cables with conductor cross-sections from 0.5 to 10 mm². The line processes PVC, LSOH (HFFR), and XLPE at production speeds of up to 1,500 m/min. It supports continuous operation with dual flyer pay-off and double reeler systems. A cable marking system can be integrated, as required. Typical applications include house wiring, control cables, and other low-voltage cable products manufactured in large volumes.
