SAR MAKİNA continues to expand its technology portfolio for the global wire and cable industry. In addition to its well-established pay-off, spooling, rewinding, bunching, filtering technologies, and electrolytic tin plating lines, the company has recently introduced rigid strander lines, single twist machines, braiding machines, wire drawing lines, and automatic double spoolers, marking an important step toward advanced wire and cable production technologies.
At wire Düsseldorf 2026, SAR MAKİNA will present several machines from its portfolio and introduce its latest developments to the international wire and cable community.

Can you briefly introduce your company and its main activities?
SARMAKİNA was established in 1991 in Istanbul by SARKUYSAN, one of Turkey’s largest copper wire producers. SAR MAKİNA operates as a manufacturing and engineering company specializing in machinery and production technologies for the wire and cable industry.
Over the years, SAR MAKİNA has developed strong expertise in wire processing technologies, including motor-driven / static pay-offs, double twist bunching machines, spoolers, automatic bobbin winders, rewinding systems, take-ups, filtration systems for drawing lines, tin plating lines, and various auxiliary equipment used in wire production lines.
In addition to machinery manufacturing, the company also produces standard and customized steel reels and provides engineering and project solutions for wire and cable manufacturers worldwide.
Today, SAR MAKİNA machines are operating in numerous wire and cable plants across Europe, the United States, and Asia, supporting customers with reliable and efficient production technologies.
What are your key export markets?
Europe remains our primary export market, followed by the United States and several other international regions.
Over the years, we have established long-term partnerships with international customers in countries such as Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, France, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Croatia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia, and so on.
As SAR MAKİNA continues to strengthen its presence across Europe, we are closely following CE regulations and safety standards. Our engineering team regularly receives specialized training and integrates these requirements into machine design, reflecting the increasing importance of safety in modern wire and cable production.
Ongoing investments in production capacity and modernization projects within the wire and cable industry continue to create new opportunities for machine manufacturers. Being able to compete in the same markets with established European suppliers is an important indicator of the technological level and reliability of our machines.
What are your expectations for the coming period?
Demand for efficient and reliable production technologies in the wire and cable industry continues to grow worldwide.
SAR MAKİNA aims to further strengthen its position in international markets by continuing to develop engineering-driven solutions and expanding its global customer network.
With increasing production capacity and ongoing product development activities, we expect steady growth in both production and export activities in the coming years.
Which new technologies are you focusing on?
In recent years, we have significantly expanded our product portfolio beyond existing technologies.
In addition to our established solutions for wire processing, we have recently introduced several new technologies, including:
• Rigid Strander Lines
• Single Twist Machines
• Braiding Machines
• Automatic Double Spoolers
• Wire Drawing Lines
The addition of wire drawing lines marks an important milestone for SAR MAKİNA, enabling the company to offer complete production line solutions for the wire and cable industry.
These developments represent an important step in SAR MAKİNA’s evolution from a specialist in pay-off, winding, and bunching equipment to a supplier of advanced production technologies for the wire and cable industry.
What will visitors see at your stand during wire Düsseldorf 2026?
Wire Düsseldorf is the most important international meeting point for the wire and cable industry, and we are pleased to present several machines from our portfolio at the exhibition.
